Anh Duong Hotel

I booked this place because it was very cheap and close to the airport. It's 15 minutes walk to the international terminal or 30 minutes walk to the domestic terminal. Getting a taxi is pretty easy if you just start walking, although you need to be careful about getting ripped off. (Price should now be more than 50k.) The hotel is basic but clean and everything worked. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The TV even had Netflix, although I had to sign in my own account to use it. This isn't a place for a long stay, but for a one night stopover it's great. The centre of Hanoi is a long way from the airport, so it's often not worth going there if you're arriving late and then leaving the following morning.

Not too close, but walkable distance from airport, perfect for a rest before an early morning flight.

Everything is clean, friendly staff

Cheap, clean, quick and easy check in and check out. Has a lift (or elevator if you speak American). 15 minutes walk to the international airport terminal with light baggage, although it does require crossing a large road. WiFi worked better than expected. TV had Netflix (although as you would expect I had to sign in with my own account).
